Eternity On Ice
For as long as I can remember
I’ve had this hole in my heart
An emptiness that nothing seems to fill
Beside my stress
Emotions are a rollercoaster
On this jagged little pill
The fairy tales in this trial of life
There just may come hell on ice
Inside my arms
I bare a harm
That is spoken
In nothing more than charms
The cold in me, a superstition
On a mission
To accomplish a much wanted warmth
Inside these pleasures
I treasure this texture
Tuning out all
Exempt from the lessons in this life’s lecture
Believe if you may the fairytales in life
But there will come hell on ice
I will suffer at my own expense
Before I vow to allow assistance from you
I am proud, I am stubborn
I am ranked by knots on my hanging noose
Daily do I fight
For there is no existing truce
