Eternity Calls

Around me i see, it's all the same, so many are gone, there's no more flame. As eternity calls, she adds to your stress, to drag you down, to give you less. Their faces I see, hold on to it's ware, all struggles are over, no more to bare. When it's all over, lights angels arrive, to take you home, this world you survived.

Sweeeeet! My 12 yr old likes this one too. There is something sooo soothing about the angels' light taking me home....goosebumps big time! My struggles aren't that difficult but on my worst days I do think along this line! Enjoyed, Aaron. Gwendolen

Death seems to influence everyone in profound ways. We get upset when other people enter eternity, yet it's a solemn moment when it comes for us. It's the natural progression of life, which you should enjoy every minute of, taking the good with the bad as the inherent joy of living. Anyway, intriguing poem, good job with this one.   -KMD
