Eternity

Rain falls everywhere
Streets painted in a pastel gray
I try not to care
This emptiness won't go away

Now I
Know what it is to be lonely
And I
Know what it is to feel pain
Still I
Know what I know and that's nothing
And I
Always seem to feel the same

Catch me
I'm falling down inside
Help me
I've nothing left to hide

Rain, rain
Raindrops crash. I sigh
Rain, rain
Will you tell me why?

I stare up at the sky
Get hypnotized by what I see
I want so much to try
To know what I will never be

Still I
Never will know who I am
And I
Know what it is not to change
But I
Always will feel the same
And I
Always will know this pain

Eternity
Eternity
Of loneliness
I wish this rain
Could just wash me
Away

Catch me as I'm falling down
Captivated by the sound of
Rain, rain
Raindrops resonate
Rain, rain
Still I hesitate

Rain, rain
wash away my soul
Rain, rain
Purity. Control

Eternity
Eternity
Eternity
Is rain
