-Eternally Mourn

Reflecting on years gone by
Hefty sorrow anchors my soul
Each time one of you left
My heart was left less whole

The world turns and times they change
I am living my new norm
I try to live my best life
Though for you I eternally mourn

My focus is right now and onwards
With avoidance to dwell
Yet sorrow endlessly haunts me
Despite reluctantly bidding you farewell
