Eternal Slumber

Away he went, leaving me in disdain.
He disappeared in the mist, never found again.
How could i remain ever so sane?
When you leave me suffering in utmost pain.

With this potion i drink,
my body began to shudder.
i drag myself to my chamber
to lay myself in eternal slumber

Awaken me not from this slumber
till the day i've earned my worth.
Awaken me not from this slumber
till the one i love, return to the land of birth.

Farewell for now, cruel world.
My whirling thoughts i shall dismiss.
And in my bed i shall curl,
Only awakened by true love's kiss.
