Eternal Ocean

my heart - in pieces
Over your place
     Of refuge
- No more
shame

I know what it’s like
You never will
It is my art
A youthful skill
To dredge the suet under weight
Of water
(fate)
God - death
sin, father

It’s pain, But still
We’re charged
Naked - from God
remembered will

Impressions
on clay, We are
   Remember
   Birth, grave and scare

Cold like December’s Taste
on feet
on floor
   O warmth - skin
   dream no more

I know loneliness
more than you must
Like freedom’s curse
and poison lust

I know the dark room
The wish for arms
brushing my breast
    doing no harm

in synchronized wars
of will
   together
   separate
thoughtful, still

Of -
the intriguing
space (someone dreaming of your face)

for nights of passion
All is told,
secret rations
slow, unfold
in arms that will
not hope for more
   than fill,
   endure
   stand
Eternal Ocean - shifting shore
