Eternal Love Renew

My love we were inseparable
In life’s long journey’s trials;
Our love was so unbreakable
We went through life with smiles.

Medical problems took their toll
We tried to overcome
Until one day Death took your soul
That left me feeling numb.

Now you lie in the earth to sleep
Your last chapter and page;
Left to sit at your grave and weep
As I decay with age.

I sit and fall into a sleep
I see your smiling face
No more alone am I to weep
You have that angel’s grace.

An old man at a grave was found
Cold with the early dew
Smiling eyes he lay on the ground
Eternal love renew.

Your depth of love and hurt is very clear and is felt by those reading it.

I was a full-time carer for my late wife and we really did live for each other.Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.
