Eternal Love

Even after five billion years
The sun never tires of shining upon the sea
Though it's filled with the world's salty tears
Love overpowers the urge to flee
.
Even after a trillion dawns
With dewdrops streaming down it's face
The Earth never once turns away
Love keeps it in it's place
.
Even so my heart holds me fast
No matter what you say or do
My heart holds on until the last
Because of love for you

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
