Eternal Breath
I swear I hear your voice
Floating softly on the breeze
You whisper “I still love you so”
And it makes it hard to breathe
I remember how we embraced
As we watched the setting sun
The way we strolled hand in hand
When our day was over and done
Our memories still hold
They are timeless in our love
The kind of love we shared
A true gift from up above
Now I come to see you often
To visit you in your grave
Some day we will be together
And we’ll have the peace we crave
We’ll stroll the streets of heaven
Our heart and souls entwined
Together for eternity
In a place that has no time
