Essence

you're the essence of my nature
stitched deep within my seams
its sad I'll never meet you
since i grew you in my dreams

your beauty defies all standards
with the weeds that you grew from
never written into medical records
no sounds of your heartbeats hum

you are the protagonist of my every story
your smile to knock down all woes
too bad you'll never see that glory
for infertility has imposed

your cries are phantom echoes
that I made up in my head
I imagine you running threw meadows
and tucking you into bed

you're the essence of my nature
stitched deep within my seems
I am sorry I'll never meet you
but I'll meet you again in my dreams
