The Empty Tomb *
Oh, three humble women early on Resurrection Sunday,
carried spices to anoint Jesus's body laying in His grave.
"Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?
Thy asked each other filled with gloom.
Suddenly they looked up filled with fright, as they beheld a
young man dressed in white, who comforted them.
"Please do not be afraid. Jesus's body is not in the grave.
Just as He said, He has risen from the dead. Go and tell
His disciples, and Peter too, He has gone into Galilee, ahead
of you."
But when the women told the men, they of course, did not
believe them. (All because the testimony of women was
not respected by men.)
When Peter and his friend (John) ran towards
the tomb, all they found was an empty room.

Wisdom
KJV version
Testament of the Bible, He admonishes us to heed His
instructions instead of taking them lightly. In Deuteronomy
11:8 God tells the children of Israel"...Lay up these words
of mind in your heart, and in your soul..."And in Psalms 119:11
David writes," Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not
sin against Thee."
We are to live by these words! Mere memorization and recital of
them is clearly not enough in God's point of view. We are neither
to trust in our own wisdom, nor to rely on our own judgement.
Solomon clearly understood these principals, and used them in his
proverbs. In Proverbs 3:6 he states,"In all thy ways acknowledge Him
and He shall direct thy paths." And in Proverbs 3:5, he instructs us to,"
Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto thine own under-
standing."
Solomon clearly trusted in God's judgment and wisdom instead of merely
relying on his own. God full intends for us to (go forth) to do likewise.
Truly, "the fear of t he Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of
the holy is understanding." Proverbs 9:10.

Eleven Steps For Successful Living
From My Special Devotions
(but done in essay format)
Have a daily walk in faith with Jesus Christ by reading
your bible and praying for spiritual guidance daily.
Get involved in your local church services regularly,
and by volunteering your time for church functions.
(Make certain that is a bible believing, fundamentalist
church that you attend.)
"Love your neighbor as yourself and learn to forgive others
as Christ (first) forgives you."
Set realistic "short-term and long-term goals" for yourself.
Be an optimistic (and not a pessimistic person) Have a
positive attitude (instead of a negative attitude) about (your)
life!
(Make absolute certain to) properly "equip yourselves for life,"
with a college, business, vocational or technical course etc.
Get (yourself) experience by: self-employment, volunteering for
community services, part-time, or temporary employment etc.
And find supportive, encouraging friends interested in your
(life's) goals.
Have "a strong moral code of personal and professional ethics"
and (live and conduct) by them. Set a good example for believers
and nonbelievers. New Christians and nonbelievers judge Christ
and Christianity by your (own) behavior.
Never "lose sight of your dream'. Don't get discouraged or 'give up.'

Remember the Good Times
and Forget the Bad.
Second version
Life is a "rose garden" good and bad experiences
occur in our daily lives. The secret to real happiness
and serenity is--remembering the good times, and
forgetting the bad.
As we grow older, we tend to remissness about the
carefree days of our childhood and youth. If we've
spent our youth practicing "F.I.D.O" (Forget it and
drive on) we'll have a cheerful disposition and happy
memories in our golden years.
However, if we misspent our youth "rehashing" only
the bad times we'll have unpleasant memories in our
senior years.
At Serenity Club members cover a broad spectrum
from young adulthood to senior. Each member has a
"storehouse full of memories in his/her memory bank."
The memories we cherish can be either good or bad,
and happy or sad. The choice is up to you! Try storing
pleasant memories today--they'll last a life time.
[And this also is always true not just for the former
Serenity Club but for our lives in general:
We can learn a whole lot about people by the lives they
lead and the choices that they freely make in their lives.
If Jesus Christ, is truly the Lord of their lives, they posses
a Godly outlook on life. Cause they really know that all
things as possible with Christ Jesus.
But what if they have a more worldly view? When natural
disasters and the roaring waves fall upon the earth, "Men's
hearts will be failing because of fears of what is about to
come upon the face of the earth."
Therefore isn't it much better to get on board the Ark of Safety,
known as Jesus Christ? And enjoy true lasting peaceful serenity
and security regardless of what ever befalls us in our daily lives.
"If we walk by faith and not by sight..."]
