Erosion of the Milky Way

Erosion of the Milky Way
Spins us all out of control
And while I simultaneously lost my mind
A star stopped by to say hello
And winked at me with the hottest gas
That my eyes have ever seen
The waves called to the moon
Pleading for pulsations the size of skyscrapers
And when our satellite granted their wish
I was swallowed whole in
The gaping mouth of the malicious marina
But now, I’m floating out to Jupiter
Passing Venus along the way
