Ernestine

An inner beauty that never fades, is what to others you display. Never diverse in degrees or grades, But unchanging throughout each day. Your inner thoughts a smile betrays, And heart oft dangles from your sleeve. You radiate rooms with luminous rays, While in quietness, in others, you believe. You weep & pray for others from concern Bestowing upon many without thought of self. Not cherishing life's goods, that burn, A godsend in ways that are often stealth. No pretenses have you made of being more, Than your Creator intended you to be. Love of my life, whom I'll always adore, I thank God that you were saved for me.
