it be if it is just us?

This is not about me
for my love for myself has 
outgrown
i thought i could love purely
but i just love me
people complained and wept
that i could not contain them
and they went 

when you came you re-
defined me
like have been refined all 
over
i stand here to propose 
for no man would oppose
and i kneel to the floor
to tell you be mine

and you asked me why?
And i said what you did
what if it's just us
that would paint the future
because when i see your 
eyes
i know i would rise
with you in my life

take the ring
and make me a king
be my queen
and make me clean
for with you my my side
i would never go outside
have got a reason to live 
inside
with you my dear
