Erased Memories
I once wore thoughts of you like a golden robe
I held onto them like a king who never lets go of his scepter
In my wildest dreams i built a castle upon a lofty hill and put your name there
What a blissful palace it was!
An architectural masterpiece and the definition of beauty
But then nature become too jealous
Before i realised it,
The hurricanes came banging at my own door steps as though i was a convict of murder
In a blink of an eye my beautiful castle was in ashes
The violent winds tore my golden robe in infinite pieces
Nature stripped me of my treasure
As though it was not enough time crept in and erased all my memories of you without asking for permission.
Despite such a painful experience my artistic ability has grown stronger.
And Am now building another castle whose foundation are the eagle's wings.
