Equal In Both Light and Darkness
Drawn to light for sensory delight
Feeling alive and enabled therein
The divine recognising that clouded is our sight
Plunges us in darkness prompting us to awaken
Sense of sight rested, other four then take over
With spiralling wild imagination manifesting fear
Yet if we wish we may take cover
In stillness wherein bliss appears
Inherent within duality is polarity
Spanda: aspect of energy kinetic
Be it earth’s rotation or breath flow in continuity
Or pain yielding to rapturous bliss throb ecstatic
Whilst indulging to our fill in this play beauteous
We may do well do well to be master of attention
Exiting Tamasic mode stuporous
In continuum of silent meditation
