Listen to poem:
Epitaph
Alas here I lie cold and dead
a corpse in my living stead.
Dear Wife, only God and you I say
ever took my breath away!
Do not my weary soul grieve
when I this foul world leave.
Dear Son, only God and you I say
ever gave me cause to stay!
But this realm I must forsake
and a new covenant make.
Dear God, only life and fate I say
did this mortal soul betray!
