EPIPHANY
I swam and sank in your love
with my earnest yearnings.
I surrendered myself on devotion and
dedication. It wasn't an infatuation,
but a genuine emerald emotion .
I was foolish to believe that
you were also in love with me.
I didn't feel that you were only generous
and compassionate to me.
I was drinking dreamy desires.
When You walked, realisation flashed.
I might not deserve your reciprocation.
Epiphany : the joy of love falls short
while a lifelong ache lasts ••
