Listen to poem:
Epiphany As I came upon a lea, flourishing both sides a verdant green, till I see there, an ardent singular apple tree twas in the stark midst, with a solo trunk with a mid twist, adorned with succulent fruits as it lists, heavily laded being sparingly red, I thought to myself tis be an epiphany in its stead, for it grew in a golden poppy spread, yet, stranger still, tis be naught Spring, for the tease of Winter bring, its chilly wrought sting, by and by, a passerby says to me, that be a Winter Apple Tree, fruits are "Keeper Apples" to be, twas naught an epiphany I saw, But twas an added puzzle to my jigsaw, nevertheless, twas my, "A-ha". 2020 February 21
