Ephemera
In fate's intricate tapestry it weaves,
A martyr's journey down shadowed eaves,
Life embraced, purpose unknown,
In barren fields where sorrows are sown.
Through veils of conflict, honor-bound,
In futile wars, where sorrows mound,
Destined path, yet cruel it seems,
In realms of shattered, tragic dreams.
With fiery heart, they march ahead,
In valor's name, no fear they dread,
Yet destiny, a harsh mistress be,
In wars that dim their light's decree.
A sacrifice sung in somber song,
In realms of right where they belong,
Destiny embraced with mortal breath,
'Battles fought in the shadow of death.
Oh, martyr's plight, bittersweet so,
In wars futile, where sorrows grow,
Legacy etched in courage's shade,
In face of tragedy, stand well-made.
Through battles fierce, their beacons gleam,
In darkest night, a resilient stream,
No purpose wasted, no breath in vain,
In heart's silent echo, their valor remains.
