Envy
A rose of rich color
Parallels a wood fence
I can’t quite love her
Though it makes sense
Unlike my lawn
My petals are green
Enraged by her song
I chose not to sing
My beauty is fading
Dulled by her shine
I’ll waste away, waiting
To move up in line
