Enveloping Flame
Just the feel of your breath
As it crosses my lips
Renders me speechless
Like a solar eclipse
Just the touch of your hand
Devours my being
As your eyes hold me hostage
And keep me from seeing
Like an addict's addiction
I crave your attention
A prisoner of love
That's locked in detention
The fire that burns constant
Inside of my soul
Incinerates my heart
As it loses control
The embers of romance
Spell out your name
As I'm lost in the essence
Of your enveloping flame
You're my moon and my stars
My reason for life
I thank God for the day
You became my wife
