Entity

What are you, Entity? You give this life to me, Then pick it right apart, from the start of things, Say lift my head up, and then I should believe, But you would let me burn, so casually, What are you, entity? Are you a foe or friend? Is my purpose to deserve this, By bleeding for kin? But tell me entity, when have you bled for me? What are you, entity? Have you any blood at all? is there a spine in your design, Has your skin ever crawled? Is there a conscience, To which you answer at night? have you ever lost control, And killed, out of spite? What are you, entity? Are you emotion at will? Would you give us these confusions, just for sport of the kill? have you these feelings, some buried deep below? I think you're just like us, But hey, what do I know? What are you, entity? Are you just playing a game? Creating evil to see if it can be tamed? Are you the devil, Or are you truly a saint? What are you entity, tell me, cuz I can't wait/ What are you, entity? you are both artist and judge, setting fire to his paintings, after every smudge, Do we deserve this, have you no sketching board? Perhaps if you had planned your plan, we could meet more/ Because you Love us, and we are at your door, You've led us to believe, that we would need no more, yet we are shut out, because our nature is sin, our lives are uphill battles we must die to win? What are you, entity? You place this blame on me, But let us not forget, who really started things, What are you entity? Are you a man or god, are you just one of us, is there a thicker plot, What are you entity?
