Enter Spring

Oh! Spring we anticipate your coming, Our hearts are longing, Newness you bring, Birds happily sing. Oh! Spring we embrace your return, As the hands of the days turn, There’s an awakening, A gradual brightening. Hope awakens in us, Gloom takes a reverse course, The dead will spring up, Freshness will rise to the top. Winter is not forever, Gloom will not entirely cover, Colours will take flight, Frost will not eternally bite. January 29, 2023.
