Enjoying the Day
Sitting in the backyard,
out in the sun.
Listening to dogs barking,
and seeing them run.
Seeing all the beauty
blue, brown and green
Nature is exploding
what a wonderful scene
Flying all around me
robins wearing red
Chattering in their language,
I’m wondering what they said
Flowers growing brilliantly
moving with the wind
Colors bright and vivid
as they blow and bend
