ENIGMA
You are an enigma to me
Even a conundrum, I’d say
Your identity is a mystery
A puzzle to solve, anyway
Much about you is hidden
If I can just break the code
Will clarity come unbidden
And your true self showed
More than merely discreet
A challenge to understand
The real you is incomplete
Explanations built on sand
I’ll never know who you are
Nor shall likely comprehend
How high you’ve set the bar
So none see what you intend
However hard that I’ve tried
Much about you is obscured
For that which is kept inside
Continued secrecy is assured
