Enemy Was On Their Way

In the deepest part of the Great Forest of Germanic Consciousness,
The Warrior Elf, Princess Adrie searched for her Celtic sword and shield.
They were not polished and ready, so she summoned Chaedi, the dark elf.
Alert my cousin, and get us ready to ride by sunup, and in the southern field.

Has the grizzly been alerted? He queried. He was one of two who know.
Boiche will become aware in the morn, she said dismissively. Let’s go!
The enemy was on their way to the Realm of the Fae, she could feel it.
The Elder Scroll and the high elves met that night, but still did not know.

By the time the Half-elves and gnomes had arrived, the battle was won.
Boiche felt the battle in his heart, and met his princess the next day.
Within an hour the meadow was alive with the gorgeous color of sun.
How do you know always about them coming? Elder Scroll asked Adrie.

Her spiritual guides and power animals always told her, but she kept it quiet.
She did divulge her secrets, for it might weaken her chances to be queen.
I am not sure, she said, not wanting to cause any kind of elven riot.
Mystical powers, and battle ready alertness made her amazingly keen.
