Enemy

As I look into your eyes, I'm feeling quite perplexed.
Can you not realize the things you've done, I cannot accept?
You took my heart and my mind and tore them to shreds.

Now I am restless, while I lay in this bed.
I thought you were my destiny, now
I can give you no empathy,
as it wasn't me but rather you;
who was the enemy.
