Ends Meet
(I have written this on July 12, 2015 during church teen camp in Wa-Ri-Ki, Washington...I hope you all enjoy my song! Don't forget to leave a comment!):
So many nice friends here that are like family to me...
Our similarities and fun times are endless
Believe me, they will always remain my cup of coffee...
My love towards them brings me happiness
Horsing around
Feeling rather camp-bound
Looking around
Part of the crowd, but not making a sound
(PRE-CHORUS) Constantly thinking
Words don't make sense to me
Endlessly sinking
Birds fly in unison, for ends meet and it's meant to be
(CHORUS) Why does life have its moments of lost opportunities?
Why do I feel satisfaction and then the aftermath of miseries?
Fighting this bewilderment altogether
Friends hang out happily
Trying to drive out the loneliness, so I can feel better
Ends meet and beginnings greet merrily
Ends meet and beginnings greet graciously
Ends meet and beginnings greet cheerily
Lost in the crowd, but no longer grieving about it
Not thinking aloud, but I'm not throwing my childish fit
Daylight is shining my way...
But I'm still in need of His comfort
Daylight is beautiful today...
God's an expert at lifting us up above the dirt,
So I ask Him for release from my yesterday's hurt
Strange things have happened for years
But, thank God the present doesn't bring us to tears
(PRE-CHORUS) Constantly thinking
Words don't make sense to me
Endlessly sinking
Birds fly in unison, for ends meet and it's meant to be
(CHORUS) Why does life have its moments of lost opportunities?
Why do I feel satisfaction and then the aftermath of miseries?
Fighting this bewilderment altogether
Friends hang out happily
Trying to drive out the loneliness, so I can feel better
Ends meet and beginnings greet merrily
Ends meet and beginnings greet graciously
Ends meet and beginnings greet cheerily
So many birds flew out of their cage of captivity
Now, birds fly in unison, for ends meet and it's meant to be
Talking in the background
Dealing with social anxiety that weighs a pound
Hope, I hope, is soon-to-be found
Sitting alone as usual...
"No one will hang out with me..."
Suddenly, God gives me some of His faith fuel
"My Father is generous and full of grace, I see?"
(PRE-CHORUS) Constantly thinking
Words don't make sense to me
Endlessly sinking
Birds fly in unison, for ends meet and it's meant to be
(CHORUS) Why does life have its moments of lost opportunities?
Why do I feel satisfaction and then the aftermath of miseries?
Fighting this bewilderment altogether
Friends hang out happily
Trying to drive out the loneliness, so I can feel better
Ends meet and beginnings greet merrily
Ends meet and beginnings greet graciously
Ends meet and beginnings greet cheerily
Strange things have happened for years
But, thank God the present doesn't bring us to tears
Wipe those raindrops away
Welcome a brand new day
I catch a glimpse at birds at flight in unison,
For ends meet and it's meant to be
It's meant to be
So shut out the commotion of the crowd
Shine like the shimmering sun
Shine like His son...
We are not meant to be scattered, but as one...
I assure you that life has its precious moments...
Some just don't speak aloud
