Endless Sea

Without you is like nighttime,
no stars, no moon.
It's waiting for a clock that never
strikes noon.

Lost without you like a singer with
no song.
Looking back, I can see where we went
wrong.

You ran away, you had someone
to hold.
I'm here cleaning up the wreckage in the
rain and cold.

Time ticks by, and I'm not
aware.
You played a game that was dark
and unfair.

My heart she set fire
too.
I wish she was someone I never
knew.

It is like I lost a piece of
me.
Trying to stay afloat in an endless
sea.
