There is always death in the end, but life goes on.

Endless Love
By Franklin Price

Long ago, God brought you to me
He knew our endless love should be
We were perfect for each other
Mentally and physically

When I looked into your hazel eyes
My heart went all aflutter
I knew you were the one for me
That you were my bread and butter

We had suffered much before we met
Our love lives had been bad
I knew God sent you to me
We no longer would be sad

Never will forget that Sunday
When we both knew it was time
I embraced you in my arms
I was yours and you were mine

There had never been another
Who had made me feel that good
I knew, for sure, right then and there
That there never ever would

We were married soon thereafter
Together fifty years and two
Then God came and took you from me
Now what am I supposed to do?

It has been more than two years
Since He took your love away
I still miss you just as much
As I did then, on that day

You are looking down from Heaven
You see that I still have desire
When I think about my time with you
It still lights my loins on fire

God please help me in my longing
Find another one for me
Whose endless love is also gone
Who needs some love and company

Who would bring abiding love along
And not fault me bringing mine
Who could hold me in our ecstasy
Please Lord give me just one sign

If You know that cannot happen
Please take my desires from me
But let me keep my endless love
That forevermore will be.
