Endangered Species

ENDANGERED SPECIES

Where are the nuclear units
The mother and father team
I’m looking for you
You on the verge of extinction

Is it a myth that once stood strong?
The wall that held us up so long
The barrier that protected us
Is it myth, fiction make believe

Ideologies are strong
Tells me to go on
The American Dream
Mother, Father you and me

An emotional need absorbs me
Are we really doing well?
We must prepare for what may no longer be
An endangered species we might be

Ideologies are high
Set up in the sky
Can we reach survive the climb?
And if the endangered species falls the climb
Will it break us? Will we survive?
