It's so sad to think in 20 years almost all of them will likely be gone. Only pictures on the internet for kids to remember them by or to see them for the first time. Congrats. You picked a great word here.

This makes me sad-so many forests around my area are being turned into housing developments. We have deer everywhere just roaming...congratulations on your placement in the contest :)-luloo

I always love to read poems when the writer is writing to make a difference or teach a lesson. I believe it is an important part of poetry. Conservation and pollution are subjects we should all be concerned about. This is the reason I love this poem, Supraja. GREAT job.
