End of Silence

I won’t set aside
What I believe
To make it okay
And let you breathe

I refuse to
Not be listened to
It’s the end of silence
In spite of you

I’ll scream to be heard
And won’t shed a tear
I’ll stand my ground
Without any fear

I’ll let the world know
What he did to me
No longer protecting you
I’m setting me free

No more excuses
And no more lies
I did all I could
I can at least say I tried
