Encylopedias

Very true... I still have several hard-copy reference books for my writing (dictionary / thesaurus etc.), but tend to rely on the Internet most of the time!! Nicely-penned, Darlene. Regards, John.

very true. My parents still have a huge multi volume encyclopedia. Beautiful, but completely out of date.

My mom still has a set of those and they are old but still in excellent shape. Kids have no idea the hours spent having to look up facts as computers are so easy. love phyl

I had mine from A to Z. Kids have no clue the chore it was to research things haha. Nice one.

I only recently donated mine or tried to and the library would not accept them !!! Happy Tuesday

I remember my mother buying certain things at the grocery store trying to collect the whole set. I remember salesmen coming to the door trying sell sets. Times have changed. Who would have envisioned the internet back then? Not one soul.
