Very true... I still have several hard-copy reference books for my writing (dictionary / thesaurus etc.), but tend to rely on the Internet most of the time!! Nicely-penned, Darlene. Regards, John.

very true. My parents still have a huge multi volume encyclopedia. Beautiful, but completely out of date.

My mom still has a set of those and they are old but still in excellent shape. Kids have no idea the hours spent having to look up facts as computers are so easy. love phyl

Wonderfully written. True that - I like looking into an encyclopedia and you can learn so much from them. Unfortunately, technology is the replacement of such treasured books. Have a good week. -JWE

I agree with Carol. I love he feel of a good book to read especially the Good Book. I recently gave my set of 'paedias to Goodwill and I now regret it. Many thanks for your kind comment re the poem Autumn - Bob

I remember my mother buying certain things at the grocery store trying to collect the whole set. I remember salesmen coming to the door trying sell sets. Times have changed. Who would have envisioned the internet back then? Not one soul.
