Encouragement

Strong Black Man

I only trust thee to take my hand
To do with me all that you can
And be a factor in my master plan

When times are hard so is yo spine
To feed yo family U make dollas from dimes
I watch U bubble right on time
Black man resourceful, blows my mind.....

Always protecting what's yours what's mine
Neva afraid to commit a crime
Will shut yo mouth and do yo time
All while maintaining peace of mind.....

Not flawless in yo way of thought
Mistakes you've made are lessons well taught
Laced you with game that couldn't be bought
Wounded yo flesh from battles well fought

I know your worthy, I crown you my king
For being so down for your family
Now that's the stuff you don't hear about or see
The contribution the black man made to me

If for some reason yo esteem runs low
And feelings of hopelessness sneak thru ya door
and as the result frustration starts to show
Embrace these few encouraging words I know

I love you Daddy
