Encountering Angry Mother Grizzly

Mother grizzly looked dangerous, her mouth full of teeth
She was enraged, because her cubs had dropped several feet beneath
If we could keep her calm and save her babies, all would be okay
I was thrilled to see the tranquilizer dart of the warden that day

I held his rope steady as he climbed down the cavern shelf
He tossed those twins into a basket, I did not lift it myself
An entire crew was there, to make sure everything was okay
We all sighed a relief when mother grizzly came back around that day

She scrambled off into the trees with her babies following her
They bent some trees, I know one was pine, another fir
She did not seem dangerous now, a bit groggy maybe
I do not blame her; she was afraid for each baby.
