Encounter
Sweet sweet earth
Bring to me
New fresh air
Clear the streets.
No more snow
Rain go away
Spring is coming
Good bye Santa sleigh
Purple lilacs
Take the place
Of old flowers
In the vase.
Sunshine beating
Down on me
Take a look
A brand new sea.
With this encounter
My heart skips a beat
I cheer Spring on
And take a seat.
