Encapsulate An Emotion

Popcorn pops! The bag swells with golden steam. I stop the microwave to top off papa's favorite bowl. Salt christens the glistening treat and I retreat into the family room twilight as papa pushes play. 2019, F 21 encapsulate an emotion contest, sponsored by nina parmenter
