Empty Space

There’s an empty space beside my side
that you’re meant to fill
like you did my heart
How I long to be with you
How I long to see you
My heart misses your heart
My being misses your being
I miss my home dearly
I long to brush your cheek
to see you every day
to never go a week
without seeing your face
and embracing you with my arms
I need you
I need your presence with me
I need your love to always be
always be here with me
