Empty Promises
Stop telling me it's all right
when I know that it's not
Stop acting like everything's okay
as if I had forgot
Don't tell me this means nothing
when I know it means so much more
Don't tell me things will change
because I've heard it all before
You'll keep making empty promises
as if I don't know they're all lies
Yet, I still can't let you go
You are my demise
