Empty of Energy

I sit here with my eyes open in a sleepy stare,
My head pulls back slowly when my fingers run through my hair,
So many things are still left undone,
There cant be any rest untill after i finish the last one,
The days events have left me confused and shaken,
Reaching for that last little bit of energy i find its already been taken,
Without any motivation to continue these chores,
My body falls victim to deep sleep and snores
