Empty Eyes

I see the emptiness, in your eyes,
At that moment, I didn’t realize
The sorrow in your heart
That keeps us apart.
To reminisce over what we had,
Bought me to tears,
But I was glad.
Work tore us apart
Together we were,
But alone we felt,
That’s what we got dealt.
Your empty eyes
There lie’s, no lie’s
Let’s come together
And harmonize.
