Empty

I run towards you
then I kept on going
ended up to far away
no signs of slowing
now you are there
and I am here
stuck in this paradox
waiting to dare
an attempt to
make my way home
losing which direction
I started out from
fumbling, stumbling
drunken footsteps
tripping, falling
you can't hear me calling
empty rooms is left
no surprise return
no party or crowds
no cake or music
just a lot of emptiness found

I can feel the emptiness through your words, Aunna. Quite sad, really. Time to slow down and start afresh. Regards // paul
