Empty
The mind can be a really frightening
and dreadful place
And life is its mentor
It adds nothing but pain and misery to an already
hateful mahcine of depression and loss
Salvation has to lay somewhere
But it's hidden from us
like buried treasure
All of our time is spent searching
and searching
for this holy grail of happiness
Yet all that is found is disappointment
on the highest level
So what is the answer
to this enigma called life?
It doesn't exist
But when the sun is beaming
or the stars are shining
If you take the time to absorb the beauty around you
It can give you hope to make it to the next day
It can help you forget the futile wonders of the world
Mind goes blank.
Body is set free.
