Empty

Empty

Black air fills the inside of your empty body.
Polluting, what you say and what you think.
Your thoughts aren’t clear and it’s hard for you to see.
Nobody understands a thing you say.
Because you continue to put that needle in your vein.
Your lungs are so close to collapsing, from all the dirt
you’ve been inhaling, day after darkening day.
You might not see tomorrow,
because you can hardly see today.
You’ve let go of everything you ever had.
Now your ship is about to sink.
All because you didn’t take the time to stop and think
about what you’re doing.
You’re not just hurting yourself,
you’re hurting those around you.
But your too blind too see
that the one you’re hurting most, is me.
