When the bowl your life filled shattered onto the floor, All your memories spilled. It could bear them no more. And the chance for ones new without you here to share Are like pieces no glue has a hope to repair. So I'll gather each part of the love your life told; Ever safe in my heart, they'll remain mine to hold. Nov 11, 2022 Submitted to Line Gauthier's Bitesize Poem no.55 Poetry Contest

Thank you. My daughter's dog she's had since she was 3 (she's 17 now) just passed away the other day. We never expected grief for a dog could be so strong.

Oh, Jesse, I am so so sorry for your loss.. unfortunately, I know the depth and breadth of the grief you’re experiencing. The loss of a beloved pet is devastating.. please accept my condolences, my friend.
