Emptiness

She left him weeping
His eyes were swollen as no day before
She could feel the pain of yesterdays
Swore there would be no more.

As time kept them apart
Their lives still held together as one
Fear will keep them apart
Until death upon them has begun

To know love like this
Only means one thing
When real love comes to them
Life with be nothing

Years will go by
And they will always dream
Of loving each other
Without ever being seen
