Empoverished

bricks
neatly stacked
(just) a means to an end

(waiting)
     wondering
how long it will take (for love)
(to)
complete the wall
ending the warmth
the need,
                 to care

to love (die)
i cry
and
watch.

                                 Shadow

Wow Cori! Very powerful! Love the message within the message in your Cummings style, although painful.
