Emplore the Flash Before My Eyes

Flash O mine heart
A Shine

A brightness Deftly left
Behind

Shielded from mine eyes
Of Ray

Leaving the Eternal black
Unscathed.

------------------------------

O Prayer Of rainbow red

Regret the feelings left unsaid

turmoil left within this mind

Collapsed the lungs

and turned to cries.

-----------------------------------------------------

In turn and out

Eternal do the angels shout

leaving only woe and flash

O the blindness I without

Realizing without doubt

I shall turn to ash

Forgotten about.

This poem is intriguing, Michael. It makes me think about a brief, bright joy, a love, that in the end is forgotten. Perhaps without really feeling the depth of happiness that might have been. But it is not lost because...it was never really known. At any rate, You got me thinking... That's good. And the flow of your words captured my attention. This was an enjoyable read. Thanks for sharing. (And thanks for reading and commenting on my poetry.) Lovingly, Dane Ann
